Translation, Proofreading, Medical
I joined Zeste Research in 2019 for a translation internship.
During this internship, I extensively used CAT tools and terminology tools on a server. I was part of a translation team dedicated to translating documents from the clients from English to French.
The materials were medical documents and were usually highly technical and specialised. These documents were used to work with specialist doctors, thus the necessity for a high-quality translation.
The translation process always involved a proofreading step by another translator for Q&A.
There was a real emphasis on top-notch terminology and language quality as well as on respecting the deadlines.
